Mpelwane Development Projects was formed in 2008 after Managing Director Bonga Mpelwane with a Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Assessor and Project Management Qualifications decided to embark on a business journey

Mpelwane Development Projects is a Black owned engineering, construction and maintenance company, providing innovative infrastructure services to government and private-sector clients. Our organization mirrors the characteristics of the mighty oak tree through growth, strength and reputation.

The success behind our work comes from extensive experience, project management, control tools, safety manual, technical knowhow, and financial resources. With more than 10 years of market success we plan to spread our wings abroad. We have joined our hands with other construction firms across South Africa for specific project requirements.

With a dire skills deficit gap in South Africa, particularly in the construction industry, MD Projects, we assist people to learn practical skills that enable them to hold down good jobs in our sector of the economy. MD Projects Training Academy, a training wing of MD Projects, prioritises these essential initiatives through participating in EPWP (Expanded Public Works Programmes), which are government programmes with a view to transform unemployment to employment or self employment.
